Miami Heat – A Sneak Peek

The Miami Heat have yet to win a second game in this Quarterfinals series with the Milwaukee Bucks and already I’m looking ahead to see which team will come to American Airlines Arena. That’s a bit overconfident I will admit but it’s pretty hard for me to see this Heat vs Bucks series going anymore than five games. And that’s being generous.

So what we have to do is cast our eyes over towards what’s going on at the other side of the bracket and that means the Nets and Bulls series. Right now the series is all even at 1-1 a the Chicago Bulls roared back from a Game 1 loss to put themselves on an even keel and keep NBA fans guessing. This is a better matchup than what the Heat are seeing. A look back at the regular season puts the onus squarely on the Bulls to pull off the win here. Chicago and Brooklyn met up four times and the Bulls managed three wins, the latest a 92-90 scraper.

Be prepared. I think the Chicago Bulls will the next opponent for the Miami Heat in the playoffs. Which is OK except when you think back to the winning streak of 27 games that ended in …….Chicago. Yes, the Bulls are capable of giving Miami some problems. But then I can’t recall anyone saying that Miami would cruise to an NBA Championship for the second year in a row either.

It may be too early to look ahead and there’s no disrespect intended toward Milwaukee. But five game at the max folks and then get ready to welcome the Chicago Bulls. But that’s just me.
