With things going so well it’s alarmingly easy to cast our eyes ahead and see what may be in store for Miami Heat tickets in the playoffs, in other words, which teams we might be seeing in American Airlines Arena. This is all very speculative but it’s so tempting I can’t resist. I’m also assuming a few things, like easy early round wins.
Right now if the playoffs were to commence today the Miami Heat would be taking on the Milwaukee Bucks, a team they played a few days ago and a team they easily beat. I think it’s pretty safe to say that over the course of a series the Miami Heat will come out on top.
With the #2 seed being Indiana and the #7 seed right now being the Boston Celtics, I can see the Pacers pretty quickly doing away with the Beantown gang, who are currently struggling at just above .500 and have no hope of going anywhere far.
When #3 and #6 meet up, being the Knicks and Bulls, I go with the upset. Chicago plays well on the road.
#4 and #5? Nets and Hawks meet in the middle. The Nets take it on the chin.
In the next round the Miami Heat, based on these results, would take on the Chicago Bulls. This series is a little creepy to me because the Chicago Bulls, as I said earlier, are road warriors quite capable of playing over their heads in a hostile environment. On the other hand Miami is almost unbeatable at home. Heat take this too.
In my estimation that leaves our South Beach Boys matching up next with the Indiana Pacers for the Eastern Conference Championship and the San Antonio Spurs for the NBA Championship.
