Miami Heat Tickets – Happy New Year (Fingers Crossed)

It wasn’t the December we hoped for but there are encouraging signs coming from the Miami Heat. Tickets are going like hotcakes as Miami begins a new era. And now we have the New Years event of the NBA, a contest between the Indiana Pacers and our beloved Heat.

I have high hopes for ending December on a high note. To begin with, the Indiana Pacers haven’t exactly been lighting the world on fire at 11-21. But Miami can’t take this team too lightly although they have been playing well on the road. The Heat are 8-6 on the road and this first road game on a stretch that includes seven of the next eight is going to become very important in setting the tone for the rest of the Miami Heat schedule.

Miami may have an extra edge in this one as Danny Granger provides a little insight into the opponent. Granger has been playing well lately and returning to his old home may help him and the rest of the Heat get fired up. Granger brings some outside shooting toe Miami arsenal and he’s coming off of a game that saw him hit 6 of 7 from beyond the arc. Having that ability gives the Pacers something extra to worry about besides Dwyane Wade.

This is a real opportunity for the Miami Heat to take advantage of their road strength and end the New Year with a win. There are some tough games ahead. Remember, Miami Heat tickets will return to American Airlines Arena on Jan. 4th for a stint with the Brooklyn Nets. The next home game after that is Oklahoma City on the 20th. So, enjoy home Heat tickets while you can and hope the Heat can make this next two weeks on the road a memorable trip.
